Here are the Mallorca road cycling bucket list rides, the best of the best.Ā These are the rides that will nuture your cycling soul!
Andratx back to Port de Pollenca across the spine of the World Heritage Sierra de Tramuntana with 8 classified cols, including Port des Canonge, Port Valldemossa, Puig Major and Sa Calobra.
This route is not for eveyone, it is hard, very hard but fantastic. The Southbound version (Port de Pollenca to Andratx is here).
The most direct and the most popular route back to the South on the best cycle route in Mallorca.
This route follows the famous ma-10 road which goes right through the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana.
Starting in the beautiful Port de PollenƧa and continuing up the Coll de Femenia, past Lluc and the turn off to Sa Calobra, up the easy side of Puig Major before dropping down into Soller, 14 km @ 6.2% average gradient, 828m of elevation lost.
Continuing on the famous ma-10 along the coast past Valldemossa and through Deia, Banyalbufar and Estellencs before going through Andratx to Port dAndratx to complete an amazing coast to coast. Route in reverse is here.
One of the best and most scenic climbs in the world combined with the tranqil roads around Cala Tuent.
Through Puigpunyent, climb the Coll de Sa Grua followed by the Coll de Claret, though DĆ©ia and SĆ³ller before climbing and descending the magnificent winding Coll de SĆ³ller to Bunyola and the start of the tranquil (after climbing the Coll dāHonor!) Orient Valley.
Down the Coll dāOrient, between the sentries outside AlarĆ³ to Lloseta before rejoining the lanes through Campanet to Alcudia then onto Port PollenƧa via the bay road. Coastal and inland roads conquered on one of the best cycle routes in Mallorca.
Ride across the spine of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains taking in both of the mini Sa CalobraĀ“s of Port de Valldemossa and Port des Canonge all the way to Port dĀ“Andratx.

Ride from the Port of Pollenca up to the Mirador viewpoint before turning right to climb to Talai dĆlbercutx which has a view of Formentor beach and the Formentor peninsular. On clear days you can see both Barcelona and Menorca.
Drop back down to the Mirador and then ride along the coastal road to the lighthouse at Formentor. Is there a better 20km of road on the planet?
